Visa Information
A valid passport and Bhutanese Visa is required for traveling into Bhutan. No foreign missions or Embassies abroad grants Bhutan Tourist Visa.  To travel to Bhutan, the validity of your passport should be minimum of 6 months

All   information as mentioned in the visa form should be forwarded at least three weeks prior to the date of travel to process it with the concerned authorities. .  Visas are issued only when you arrive in the country, either at Paro Airport or (if by road) at Phuentsholing. 

We will handle the visa procedure for you. The Government of Bhutan will sanction the visa only after the receipt of the full payment in advance. The cost of visa is $20 for 14 days period which can be further extended with an additional fee of US $15. Visa fee is paid along with the tour payment and the actual Bhutan VISA will be stamped on your passport on arrival at Paro Airport.

For all travelers , entering into the country by road through Phuenstholing (border town in the south of Bhutan), the visa is stamped on your passport on arrival at Phuentsholing.

Visa applications must reach at least three weeks prior to your arrival date to allow time for processing and during festival seasons the details should be sent at least 8 weeks in advance as this is the peak time for tourists visiting Bhutan.

Procedures  for the VISA details:

Check the following details when you fill up the form:

1      Your full name (EXACTLY as it appears in the passport)

2      Permanent address

3      Occupation

4      Nationality

5      Passport number

6      Date of issue and expiration of passport

7      Date and place of birth


*Please note that for Bhutan visa, use your full name exactly as it appears on the passport . Your    Druk Air ticket should also have the same name as your passport and visa has.
